Season 1, Episode 01 – “Build It And They Will Come”
Tom’s mother Mary Jane and wife Amanda push him with a not-so-subtle message: to renovate the dated kitchen. Meanwhile, outside, a massive 12-foot vert ramp is rising from the pasture — a surprise build for skate legends Tony Hawk and Kevin Staab. As the crew races to finish construction, Tom introduces viewers to the farm, including Fanny the mule, Kiah the donkey, and horses Alora and Aria. When Tony and Kevin arrive, they sit down with Tom to reflect on the early outlaw days of skateboarding, and how the sport evolved into a global phenomenon. Then, with neighbours gathered and cameras rolling, the newly built 12-foot vert ramp comes alive.
